1. Our Core Privacy Philosophy

Nopubly is built on the principle of Privacy by Design. We believe that your data belongs to you. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

2. Information We Collect

A. Non-Personal Usage Data (App)

To provide our security services, the app processes certain information locally on your device:

  • DNS Queries: Our VPN service processes DNS requests to block ads and trackers. This processing happens locally on your device. We do not log or store your browsing history on our servers.
  • App Scanning: When you run a security scan, we analyze the metadata of installed applications (package name, permissions). To check for viruses, we may send a cryptographic hash (SHA-256) of an app to our secure cloud. We do not upload the actual application files unless explicitly requested for deep analysis.

B. Account Information

If you subscribe to our Pro or Total Guardian plans, we collect:

  • Email address (for account management and sync).
  • Payment information (processed securely through Stripe or Google Play; we do not store credit card details).

3. VPN Service & "No Logs" Policy

Our VPN service is designed as a local filtering tool.

  • We do not monitor, record, or store your network traffic content.
  • We do not track which websites you visit or which apps you use.
  • The "Data Saved" and "Time Saved" metrics are calculated locally and only stored on your device/account to provide you with value metrics.

4. Third-Party Services

We use limited third-party services to ensure app stability and security:

  • Mixpanel/Sentry: For anonymous crash reporting and performance monitoring (optional, can be disabled in settings).
  • VirusTotal API: To check file hashes against known global threats.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard encryption (AES-256) to protect any data transmitted between your device and our secure portal.

6. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You have the right to:

  • Access the information we hold about you.
  • Request the deletion of your account and all associated data. Use the "Delete Account" option inside the App Settings or email privacy@nopubly.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request". We will process this within 72 hours.
  • Opt-out of any non-essential data collection.

7. Google Play & VpnService Disclosure

Prominent Disclosure regarding the use of VpnService:

The Nopubly Android Application uses the Android VpnService class to function. This is required to provide the app's core functionality: Device-wide Firewall and Ad/Tracker Blocking.

  • Local Processing Only: The VPN service establishes a local "loopback" interface. Your traffic is analyzed locally on your device to identify and block connections to known malicious servers (ads, trackers, phishers).
  • No Remote Routing / No Logging: Nopubly is NOT a traditional VPN. We do not route your traffic through remote servers. We do not hide your IP address from websites. We do NOT collect, log, store, or share your network traffic data.
  • Service Encryption: Any metadata exchanged for license verification is encrypted using AES-256.
